Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

LAX transfers from Orange County, timed for the 405

LAX punishes optimistic planning. We build the cushion into the pickup time, track the inbound flight, and meet you inside the terminal so you are not hunting a curb number.

Overview

Car service to and from Los Angeles International Airport

The hard part of an LAX transfer is not the airport, it is the 42 miles in front of it. A 6am departure out of Irvine and a 4pm departure out of Irvine are completely different trips, so we set the pickup against the actual hour and day rather than a flat allowance, and we tell you the reasoning when we confirm.

On departures we drop at the upper level departures curb outside your terminal. On arrivals you have two choices: an in-terminal meet-and-greet at baggage claim, where your chauffeur parks and walks in, or a pickup at the LAX-it lot if you travel light and would rather move fast.

The Bradley terminal is where wait times matter most. We include 60 minutes of complimentary wait on international arrivals because immigration and customs at TBIT can take longer than the drive from Orange County.

Terminal guidance

Where we drop you off and pick you up

Terminal detail matters more than the address. Here is how each one works with a chauffeured transfer.

  • Terminals 1 to 3

Southwest, Delta and JetBlue side of the horseshoe. Departures at the upper level curb; arrivals meet inside baggage claim, which we recommend at these terminals.

  • Terminals 4 to 5

American and its partners. Upper level for departures, with meet-and-greet inside baggage claim or a short walk to LAX-it if you are carry-on only.

  • Terminals 6 to 8

United and Alaska. Upper level departures curb, and the closest terminals to the LAX-it lot for a quick pickup.

  • Tom Bradley International (TBIT)

All long-haul international arrivals. We include 60 minutes of complimentary wait time here and meet you at the TBIT arrivals hall after customs.

Meet and greet

Your chauffeur comes to you

  • Choice of in-terminal baggage claim meet or LAX-it lot pickup
  • 60 minutes complimentary wait time on international arrivals
  • Text with your chauffeur's name, photo and direct number before you land
  • Terminal parking during a meet-and-greet is included in the quote
  • Toll roads and airport access fees included, never added afterwards

Flight tracking

Every LAX arrival is tracked from the origin gate. Tarmac holds, gate changes and early landings all move the pickup on our side, and on international arrivals the clock starts when you clear customs rather than when the aircraft touches down.

Landing early or diverted? The pickup moves with the flight. You do not need to call.

Quoted per trip

Every trip is quoted as one fixed price before you travel, including tolls, airport fees and the standard wait time for your service. The final figure depends on the exact route, the date and time of day, the vehicle and gratuity, so we quote it per trip rather than publishing a rate card.

Questions

LAX transfer questions

  • Between 55 minutes and two hours depending on where you start and when you leave. From Irvine we plan on 80 minutes in normal conditions and considerably more for a weekday morning peak; we confirm the exact pickup time with you.
